The WIAA Board of Control has approved a new calendar of start and end dates for all sports for the 2020-2021 school year. This model includes the shortening of all seasons by a few weeks in order to insert the "early spring" season for all schools in our state, regardless of whether or not school have teams compete during that season.
Waukesha West is excited have a new community partner while retaining our own Missy Hansen as our athletic trainer. To see more information about Children's Wisconsin, please visit our athletic trainer page.
Devon Townsend is up for WisSports.net Football Player of the Week thanks to his 34 carries for 191 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Wolverines' 31-13 win against Arrowhead this past Friday night. You can vote once a day here from now through Thursday, Oct. 29th. Please share the link and help Devon win!
Waukesha West Athletics is thrilled to be welcoming our athletes back to the fields, courts, pool, courses and trails, and, as always, is grateful for the on-going support of our school, families and community. Due to continued COVID-related concerns, we need your additional support by respecting the rules adopted by the Classic 8 Conference and the School District of Waukesha regarding game attendance.
Until further notice, only those with a sport/level-specific pass, distributed in pairs to each student-athlete (one pair allowed per athlete), will be allowed entry to our games. Passes will be good all season at all home and away conference (pre-playoff) games only for the sport/level indicated on the pass. (Please note that CMH, Muskego and Arrowhead plan to also charge an entry fee). Spectators must show their pass at every game. No photos of passes will be accepted and no replacement passes will be given.
As an alternative to attending in person, we are offering different viewing options of many of our events, including live streaming. See our new Game Day tab for viewing options, game rosters and more detailed attendance procedures.
Thank you for your understanding, support and invaluable contribution to the enormous team effort required to ensure our athletes stay healthy and fully able to compete this fall!
